These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Skipi ("Service", "Platform"), a maritime document management platform operated by Tymur Rudov ("we", "us", "Company"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Skipi provides document management tools for shipping companies, vessels, and individual seafarers, including:
Skipi follows a local-first architecture. By default, your documents are stored on your device. Cloud synchronization and document package generation are optional features initiated by you.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Three account types are available: Seafarer (free, personal use), Ship Manager (company fleet management), and Vessel (single ship management).
You own your files. All documents, certificates, and other files you upload or create in Skipi ("Your Content") remain your property. We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Content.
By using cloud features (synchronization, document packages), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.

When you create a document package, selected files are bundled into a ZIP archive accessible via a unique URL. You control:
You are solely responsible for deciding which documents to include in a package and with whom you share the package URL. Skipi acts as a technical tool for package generation and delivery — we are not a party to any document exchange between you and the recipient.
Packages are accessible to anyone with the URL without authentication. Do not include confidential documents in packages unless you trust the recipient and the communication channel used to share the link.
Skipi provides document frameworks based on international maritime conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, STCW, ISM Code) and certificate expiry tracking as a convenience tool only.
Skipi is not a classification society, flag state authority, or regulatory body. The frameworks and reminders provided are informational and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. You are solely responsible for:
We do not guarantee that our frameworks are complete, current, or applicable to your specific vessel, flag state, or trading area.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Seafarer accounts are free. Vessel and Company accounts are subject to subscription fees as published on our website. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
You may delete individual documents, packages, or your entire account at any time. Upon account deletion:
We may retain anonymized, aggregated statistical data (e.g., number of documents processed) that cannot identify you or your content.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
